When you work with 3b Creative, expect the following:

Research
Our process begins by brainstorming with you to explore who your audience is and what you really need to tell them.

Brain Storming
Please bring anything that inspires you in relation to your proposed project -- it may be a photo, a fabric swatch, a piece of music, a rock from the beach or an excerpt from a book.

We adhere to the following set of rules during brainstorming sessions:

  • No criticizing or categorizing the ideas generated until the end of the session
  • Even the craziest, most peculiar notions are welcome
  • The number of ideas accepted is unlimited
  • Building on or modifying ideas offered is encouraged

As the brainstorming session comes to a close, we will begin to hone down the ideas we discover down to just a few that you think describe the general "vibe" you're looking for.

Then we will conduct additional market research that pertains to your type of organization, to get comprehensive feel for your audiences, and examine the various approaches made by your professional peers.

Planning
Using the ideas gathered during the brainstorming session and our additional research, we will develop an initial design. You may be surprised to hear that we do not begin your design on a computer. We actually start from scratch with paper and pencil, and transfer our best ideas to a computer format.

You will have the opportunity to review this design and let us know what changes you would like us to make. This is the time to hash out the details -- what goes where and why. Major revisions to the plan are best made at this time, not during production.

This is also when you deliver any content we may need to begin production. Unless otherwise arranged, you will provide copy, graphics and photos. However, at your request, we will write text, create graphics or take photos for your project.

Production top of page
Next, we develop a contract that we are both happy with and begin to actually create your project, working out any bugs as we go.

At your request, we can ensure privacy by setting up a password-protected Internet site where you can track our progress as we bring together technology and content to develop your site.  During this phase, expect to hear from us on a regular basis. We want to make sure we're always on the right track, so we'll touch base with you often.

Acceptance top of page
When your site is nearly finished we will ask you to review it twice to identify any design or content issues. We will not limit the number of revisions you request or the amount of time we spend with you. However, please remember this is the time for minor tweaks. Major changes to the project’s design or content should have taken place during the initial planning phase. If the changes you request cause the project to require more resources than we originally budgeted for, we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.

When you are happy with your site, we will ask you to sign a final acceptance agreement, at which time we will turn everything we produced in association with your project over to you. After signing the agreement, any new requests will fall under a maintenance agreement or spur a new project.
